Our activities include a long list of field trips, playgroups, MOMS night out, couples night out, service projects, etc.  We have a very active chapter and it’s due to the level of participation of our members.  We have a fantastic group of ladies and friends. 

 Our service projects have consisted of:  our annual car seat inspection, adopting families in need for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, cleaning the windows of a local church that hosts our meetings, etc.  As you can see there is a lot to do and more than can even be listed.  Contact our Membership Vice President (MVP) Jen and find out more about us, and come to a meeting, you’ll find out what we’re all about!

Weekly Events

Age appropriate play groups – Each Mom is assigned a playgroup according to your child’s age, this way you’ll all be going through the same stages at approximately the same time (ex. Potty training, changing to a big kid bed, pre-school etc.) 

Field trips through out area – There are a lot of exciting and interesting things to do in the Rochester and surrounding areas, why not explore with your friends who have kids, just like you.  What better way to enjoy some fun and friends!

Park play dates – If you’re new to the area and even if you’re not, maybe you’d like to take your kids to the park and have a picnic after!  Each summer we plan weekly park playdates for you and your kids to get to know what there is to offer within the community.

 Monthly Events

General meeting – Our chapter has a monthly meeting which is very important to keep up with what is happening within our club.  This is when you can make your voice heard and get to know some Moms that aren’t in your playgroup.

MOMS Night Out – an opportunity for Mom to get out and enjoy some adult conversation and relax.  If you’re a nursing Mom feel free to bring your little one along.  A few times a year we also have a couples night out just for you and your guy!  It’s a great way for husbands to get to know all the other moms you’re constantly talking about.

Service projects - Within our bylaws our chapter must complete at least one service project per year.  Below are a few of the things we’ve done for our community.

1. Annual car seat inspection, we invite anyone in the community to have their child’s seat inspected to make sure it meets NYS requirements.

2. Adopting families in need, both for Thanksgiving and Christmas, we provided a nice meal for the holiday and a few extras!

3. Cleaning windows for the local church where we host our meetings.  To say thank you for allowing us to have our meetings at the church, our chapter took care of a much needed cleaning project!
